The breakfast was above average, the room was impeccable, and being close to a palace and a Royal palace was fantastic.

Good location. 10 minute walk to centre of Udaipur. Staff in restaurant very helpful and attentive. Breakfast choice seemed limited compared to other similarly graded hotels, however what was on offer was nice.
The deluxe room we hsd paid for was certainly less deluxe than other similarly priced hotels and less deluxe than some other rooms in the hotel. I suspect as we arrived very early and they quickly and kindly got us into a room it may not have been their best room. It was a bit tired.

I had the most wonderful stay at this hotel in Udaipur. The location was superb, with easy access to all the major attractions. The highlight of my stay was the swimming pool, perfect for a refreshing dip after a long day of exploring. The live early morning ragas added a touch of cultural charm to my mornings. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The laundry service was excellent and allowed me to stay fresh throughout my trip. The heritage decor added a unique and beautiful touch to the ambiance. The garden was a peaceful oasis where I could relax and socialize with other guests. And the rates were affordable, making it even more appealing. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant and enjoyable stay in Udaipur.

It was an execellent hotel, I picked the suite, it was a very spacious room with wooden forniture, working and silent air-conditioning, extremely clean, the bathroom was very clean, and hot water. It was nice because there was no noise coming from outside. There is a fantastic litle garden around the perfect swimmingpool with 2 turtles. The restaurant was very good, and it was the only one hotel in my trip in India that had buffet breakfast.
Credit card connection didn't work, so I had to go to an atm to get the money, although an hotel steward brought me there with his motorbike.

Our room was nice and big, decorated in traditional style. Breakfast is ok, it is even possible to order freshly brewed capuccino. Very pleasant green lawn, where it was very pleasant to have a cup of tea. Area is quited - there are no noisy streets around. We didn't use the pool, as it was rather cold, but it looked nice and clean. But the best thing about hotel is its staff - the most friendly and helpful that we met out of all 5 cities that we visited in India this time. We felt like a very welcome guest.
There were no such things.

As youngsters, we loved the stunning design of the rooms, individually decorated with Rajasthani block printed fabrics. the comfiest bed we've had in all our travels! the outside area with the restaurant and swimming pool was a highlight, and the breakfast buffet had a great selection. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. the location was perfect, just minutes away from the City Palace.
Felt very cared for, no reason to complain.

The value for money at Mahendra Prakash was outstanding - the room was beautiful and comfortable, with attention to detail in every corner. The location was perfect, offering a quiet escape from the bustling tourist area. The staff treated me like royalty, going above and beyond to make my stay memorable.
The breakfast experience could have been improved by ensuring that the packed breakfast request made the night before was communicated to the morning staff for a smooth delivery.

Very cosy hotel, very nice rooms, helpful staff, excellent breakfast menu that you can have in the the most wonderful garden next to the swimming pool, perfectly located to walk into downtown (10min) but being far enough to be outside of tourist crowds.
Noise during night can be quite loud which is not the fault of the hotel but has an effect to your sleep. Staff should not begin to work in front of rooms next to inner courtyard at 7 am, this is much too early if you are on holidays
